We are pleased to announce the availability of applications for the 2011-2012 scholarship application.  Each year this chapter issues scholarships to local high school students.  This year are are accepting applications for the following scholarships:

The Geneva Mays Merit Scholarship

Students interested in this scholarship will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

• Prince George’s County, Maryland resident
• Graduating PGC public high school senior
• Plan to attend an accredited post secondary institution during the 2012-2013 academic school year (award based on actual enrollment
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above required

The Prince George's County Legacy Scholarship

Students interested in this scholarship will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

• Prince George’s County, Maryland resident
• Graduating PGC public high school senior
• Plan to attend an accredited post secondary institution during the 2012-2013 academic school year (award based on actual enrollment
• Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above required and have shown significant academic improvement over previous years

Applications are due by Tuesday, January 31, 2012.
